Full Time (2021)
Synopsis
Julie (Laure Calamy) lives away from her husband outside Paris with her two children. Every morning she has to travel into the city, where she works as a chambermaid in a luxury hotel. Every day is a race against time: while it is still dark, Julie takes the children to an elderly neighbor who acts as a childminder. She runs to the railway station, where she just manages to catch the train. Then the national strike begins: she has to change to a bus and it becomes impossible to get to work on time. She urgently needs her job because her ex-husband doesn't pay any maintenance. She has been trying for a long time to find a better-paid job near her home that would be commensurate with her training. When she finally gets a job interview, the problems start all over again. She can't stay away from work and has to persuade a colleague to cover for her.
